On Shabbat while learning Zohar Book 19 and Zohar Book 20.  Page 56 and other pages that elud to El Shadai.  Learning from the stars and constellations becomes prohibited for Jews.  For those that are 'Messianic Jews' (meaning, those that believe that the messiah has already arrived on planet Earth [most monotheistic religions, except for "Judaism" and/or learners of the Torah), the concept of the Moschiac is taught through the perception of their teachers or whoever taught them, not "The Rabbis".

For us who learn directly from "The Rabbis",  there are 12 tribes of Jews, each with unique, specific and generalistic reasons for learning various things throughout the timeline of humankind's existence on planet Earth.

Rabbi Tovi Singer explains in various talks and books about some of the specifics in a book series named "Let's get Biblical".

Zohar and Talmud, Mishnah, Gemara and many other book and tribe and nation styles and minhag have varied throughout various exiles and pograms, etc.
