My father's colleague while in seminary, is rumored to be, a convert from Islam to Christainity, Masud. In that Masud, our family line has maintained, sometimes at the pain of financial ruin and death, our defense of religious tradition. While in college in Santa Barbara, the founder of this site became close friends with Araj and Soheil from Iran. Araj's family fled from the ayatollah and arrived in England in the 70's, nevertheless, we met in college. Smoked hookah, celebrated the Persian new year in L.A., amongst other things.
