The mourning of the destruction of the 1st and 2nd Temple by the Babylonians and Romans. The best that could currently muster this year is my failure to fully realize the gravity of various opportunities and to proverbially 'take the bull by the horns'. However, the observance of the holiday, perhaps, teaches one to wait for the 'right or wrong' time. The temples were built, then destroyed. Nothing was built and then the exile somehow generated a level of something being built, at least in the modern era?
And a meager realization that people are, not to become to closely aligned with other religions, also a form of a temple...
